Updates from Prague...

Day 7:

We are having a blast here, ending our days exhausted and fulfilled! Among the things we have seen are the Prague Castle, St. Nicholas' Church, Charles Bridge, Old Town, and the Museum of Communism. We have tasted Czech cuisine and been entertained by Czech musicians and mimes. Of course we have also been training and competing hard on the lacrosse field every single day! Today our game against the Czech national team got cut short, but we will play again tomorrow following a 5v5 tourney between the teams from the US. 

 

Day 3:

We watched team USA beat Australia today 8-7 in a hard fought battle!  BearLax players were painted up like American flags and cheered their heads off to help give their team the edge.  They got autographs and pictures with the team following the game, and it was a day to remember!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM USA!!!!

BearLAX Women's Lacrosse Club
For Players in the San Francisco Bay Area

BearLax is a lacrosse club for young women in grades 6 thru 12 in Northern California.

Players on the BearLax teams are from all over the San Francisco Bay area within 50 miles of the UC Berkeley campus

(due to NCAA regulations).
